Special Orders : Some guidelines to insure satisfaction.
Shapes and styles will tend to be similar within a particular type of piece. Flared vases, folded bowls, wavy bowls platters etc. will differ mainly in size, and color. Small variations will also occur in the degree of the flare or waviness. This being the case the surest way to have a custom designed piece is by linking your request to a piece on the photos page by item number. For instance you like the shape of a piece, but it is to small or to big or the wrong color I will know exactly what you are looking for.
Additionally, if you have a picture of a shape you like you can send it to me by Fax to 412-362-1036 or by Email with the Contact Me link. Remember that all of my works are Hand Built, and not done on a wheel, so don't ask me to make perfectly round objects. Those shapes are made by other potters.
One last remark. All specially made pieces will ONLY be shipped after the perspective buyer is satisfied. This will be accomplished through photos either on line or with snail mail. The buyer will in NO WAY be obligated to buy a piece that isn't quite what they wanted. If you don't like it Just Say No Thank You.
REMEMBER
Color choices can be tricky things to describe with words. To insure accurate understanding of the colors you would like on your custom made piece, you should try to pick colors on current offerings on my "Photos" page.
If you have a sample of a particular color you like and can Fax, or Email it to me I will try and match it and return a sample choice to you for approval. Also if you want something less specific like "sky blue, or deep dark red or grass green or coal black" I will be able to satisfy them
